air quality (tree management)

Tree management for air quality includes maintaining or increasing the number of trees, especially those that are large (with large total leaf surface areas), long-lived, resistant to pollution, have low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and low maintenance requirements. The trees should be capable of active growth.
