A body that develops, examines and awards qualifications, in the land-based sector including City & Guilds Land-Based Services (incorporating NPTC), LANTRA, the Awarding Body Consortium (ABC), the former Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC, now Edexel) and, in Scotland, the Scottish Skills Testing Service (SSTS).
