BS 8545 (2014) Trees: From nursery to independence in the landscape – Recommendations. This Standard seeks to improve the survival rate of newly planted trees by integrating the numerous elements of species selection in relation to site, nursery production, handling and planting practice etc. BS 8545 (2014) was developed under the auspices of the B/213 Technical committee.
