Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT)

The professional body for specialists in the technology of building design, construction and use. The CIAT was founded in 1965 as the Society of Architectural and Associated Technicians, and was granted a royal charter in 2005. It has 9,500 members. The only grade of membership with chartered status is Member (MCIAT).
