climate change projections for Britain and Ireland

Climate projections are given in DEFRA (2009) Adapting to climate change: UK climate projections. The projections predict an increase in winter precipitation and hotter drier summers, especially in the south of England. The projections are generalities arising from global warming, but climate change in any one part of the world need not be consistent with global averages.
