Conservation Volunteers (The)

A charity set up in 1959 to provide volunteers with opportunities for practical conservation work, latterly providing training, support for the unemployed and apprenticeships. TCV was initially called the Conservation Corps then (until 2012) the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers
