Copenhagen

The 15th UN conference of the Framework convention on climate change held in 2009 at Copenhagen. The meeting was intended to provide targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions beyond 2012. An early proposal to cut emissions by 80% by 2050 was dropped at the meeting but was adopted anyway by the UK.
