Under the Anti-social Behaviour Act 2003, a hedge may be so high as to cause a nuisance in common law by adversely affecting the complainant’s reasonable enjoyment of his property. The ‘action hedge height’ is the height at which a high hedge is likely to be causing a significant loss of light or visual amenity
