Parma commitment
A commitment to reduce the adverse impacts on human health of environmental threats such as global warming, made by 53 European states attending a conference of the World Health Organization in Parma, Italy, in 2010. By 2020 participants agreed to provide all children in Europe with equal access to safe water, sanitation, improved air quality, an environment free of toxins, a healthy diet and opportunities for physical activity.
