woodland (statistics)

The area of woodland in the UK is 3.1M ha, comprising 13% of the UK land area (10% in England, 15% in Wales, 18% in Scotland and 7% in Northern Ireland). The Forestry Commission and Forest Service of Northern Ireland together own 0.9M ha, or 28% of the total.
