Forest Enterprise

That part of the Forestry Commission (FC) established in 1996 (and devolved in 2003) with the aim of ‘protecting and expanding Great Britain’s woodlands and increasing their value to society and the environment’. It now consists of two executive agencies, for England and Scotland.
