Technician's certificate

Formerly known as the Arboricultural Association Technician’s certificate (AA Tech. cert.) or the ‘level 3 Technician’s certificate in arboriculture’, this qualification was introduced by the AA to provide a pathway from the RFS Certificate in arboriculture (Level 2) to the RFS Professional diploma (Level 6). It also satisfied the requirement for entry to the Technician grade of AA membership. The Tech.cert. has been discontinued, but the AA recognizes ten other qualifications as equivalent while a further nine have part-equivalence.
